Perfect Orbit is a golf-themed arcade game built around a single loop: launch a golf ball as far as you can across terrain that constantly rotates and orbits, earn coins for your distance, and spend those coins to launch even further. Every swing is a chance to break your record, and the whole game climbs toward one goal — sending the ball into space.
The controls are essentially one button. Left click or tap to swing when a moving arrow passes through the power bar's green zone, or hold and drag to fine-tune your aim and power before releasing. Shift triggers a power-up, and the arrow keys or A and D handle the menus. Everything else is timing.
The power bar is the heart of the game. It runs light green for a decent swing, green for a better hit, and yellow for the Perfect Shot zone. Click dead-center in the yellow and your ball turns into a fireball that smashes through obstacles and doubles your score — the single highest-value play in the game.
Coins come from distance. Landing on the green keeps your turn going, landing off the green still pays but costs you the extra shot, and dropping the ball in the hole pays a big bonus. Those coins feed three upgrades — Strength, Speed, and Bounce — plus unlockable characters, skins, and map themes.
To be fair about its scope: this is a timing and upgrade game with a golf skin, not a full golf simulation. The depth is in reading the power bar and chasing the perfect shot, which is exactly the quick, satisfying loop it promises.
