Merge Infinity reworks the 2048 idea into something more hands-on. Instead of swiping the whole board, you draw a line through exactly the numbers you want to merge. Connect two or more neighboring tiles with the same value, release, and they combine into the next multiple.
The depth is in the chains. A merge does not stop at two tiles — you extend the line through each newly doubled value. A 2-2 becomes a 4, keep dragging into another 4 to make 8, then 16, 32, and onward. Longer chains score more and build big tiles far faster than merging pairs one at a time.
You can connect in eight directions — vertical, horizontal, and diagonal — which gives you far finer control over the board than a four-way swipe. After each merge, fresh numbers drop in from the top, so every move reshapes the grid you are working with.
There is no timer and no move cap, so it plays at your own pace. The aim is to keep climbing toward 4096, 8192, and 16384 — and a run only ends when the board fills up with values that no longer connect.
