Donut Clicker starts the way every idle game should: one giant donut in the middle of the screen, and one thing to do with it — click. Every click earns donuts, and those first donuts are the seed money for the whole bakery. Click a few times, buy a producer, and the game starts playing itself a little.
The shop is where the loop lives. Spend donuts on buildings like the Dipping Finger, Fry Cook, Wheat Farm, and Sugar Mine, and each one raises your donuts-per-second. With more than 700 upgrades on top of that, there is always a next thing to buy — a faster finger, a better farm, a bulk purchase at x10 or x100.
The idle part is only half the story. Golden Donuts pop up and pay big if you catch them before they vanish, while alien UFOs hover in to drain your production until you shoot them down. It is enough to keep you watching even after your bakery runs itself.
If you like Cookie Clicker-style games, Donut Clicker is the brighter, sweeter version — same "one more upgrade" pull, a lot more sprinkles.
