Aetherium Bastion 3D drops one hero into a third-person 4v4 arena against AI rivals. You and three AI team-mates face a full team of bots, and the match ends when one side reaches 50 knockouts or the five-minute clock runs out and the higher score takes it. It is a brawler first and a shooter second — the movement, the abilities, and the pickups matter as much as who clicks first.
The five heroes are what give the game its variety. There is a spellblade, a duelist, a shield knight, a swordmaiden, and an archer, and each plays differently instead of just carrying a different damage number. Every hero has two abilities you actually have to learn — not a stat sheet you can ignore. The shield knight holds ground, the duelist gets in close, the archer keeps range, and so on. That choice changes how a match feels from the first spawn.
Matches are short, which is the point. First team to 50 knockouts wins, and if nobody gets there the five-minute clock decides it. You are in, you fight, you are out, and the next match is a click away. Between fights the ruins are worth walking, because the secrets hidden there — the ruin trials — pay the points that unlock the heroes still locked behind lifetime totals.
It runs in the browser as a WebGL game, free, with no download and no account. It is built by the developer behind the Neon Arcade browser-games site and hosted on itch.io, so it works on a desktop with keyboard and mouse or on a phone with touch controls.
