Build, shoot, outplay.

1v1.LOL is a browser builder-shooter in the Fortnite mold. You do two things at once — shoot your opponent and construct walls, ramps, floors, and roofs on the fly to take cover and claim high ground. The player who builds and edits faster usually wins, not the one who aims slightly better.

The flagship mode is a pure 1v1 duel, but the game goes well past that. Box Fight puts you in a tight close-quarters arena, Battle Royale drops up to 10 players onto a shrinking map, and Zone Wars and JustBuild round out the roster with a shrinking-zone fight and a free practice mode.

Building is the skill gap. You place pieces with dedicated keys, farm materials with the pickaxe, and edit walls into windows and doors mid-fight. Every fight is a race up the ramp, and the player holding the top wins the angle.

It is free in the browser with no download, and it also lives on iOS, Android, and Steam if you want it anywhere else.

1v1.LOL gameplay — browser builder-shooter
1v1.LOL is a browser builder-shooter where you move with WASD, aim with the mouse, and place walls, floors, ramps, and roofs with Z, X, C, and V while shooting opponents. Fight for high ground, edit fast with G, and outplay your rival in 1v1 duels and battle royale.

1v1.LOL Strategy — High Ground Wins the Fight

Build up before you shoot.

Take high ground first. The player on top sees over the builds and controls the angle, while the player below is stuck shooting up at cover. The moment a fight starts, ramp up — and place a wall in front of the ramp so your climb is protected.

Use the right-hand peek. The camera sits over your right shoulder, so peeking from the right side of a wall exposes less of your hitbox. Always reposition to the right edge of your cover before you shoot.

Edit faster than they can react. Press G to edit a wall into a window or door, land a shot through it, and close it back before the return fire comes. Editing speed is the difference between a clean kill and getting traded.

Never run out of materials. Farm with the pickaxe between fights so you are never caught flat-footed when someone ramps over you. A player with no materials in a build fight is a player losing the fight.

What Makes 1v1.LOL Different

A build fight that loads in a tab.

The first difference is the two-track skill. You are not just aiming — you are building at the same time, and the building is the deeper skill. A great shot wins one exchange; a great build wins the whole fight.

The second is the browser itself. This is the full Fortnite-style loop — build, edit, peek, outplay — running free in a tab with no install. That low barrier is why it spreads the way it does.

The third is the match size. The core is a clean 1v1, not a sprawling 100-player lobby, so every fight is a direct skill test with no third parties. You get better fast because every loss is a clear lesson.

1v1.LOL Timeline

1v1.LOL is a free HTML5 builder-shooter by JustPlay.LOL. You move with WASD, aim with the mouse, and construct walls, ramps, floors, and roofs while shooting opponents. It plays free in the browser with 1v1 duels, Box Fight, Battle Royale, Zone Wars, and a JustBuild practice mode, plus iOS, Android, and Steam versions.

Why 1v1.LOL Still Gets Played

The next duel is one queue away.

The build fight is the hook. There is nothing quite like the race to high ground — one player ramps, the other answers, and the winner is the one who read the angle and edited faster. Every duel is a pure, fast skill test.

It is always one more match. The games are short, the queue is instant, and a loss stings just enough that you immediately want the rematch. That loop is what keeps it open in a school, an office, or a phone.

And it scales. The same building mechanics carry from a 1v1 duel to a 10-player Battle Royale to a solo JustBuild session, so the game fits whatever kind of match you are in the mood for.

1v1.LOL — FAQ

Straight answers to what players actually search — how to play, controls, building, modes, improving, Fortnite, and mobile.

How do you play 1v1.LOL?

1v1.LOL is a browser builder-shooter in the Fortnite mold. You shoot opponents while constructing walls, ramps, floors, and roofs on the fly to take high ground and block shots. The main mode is a 1v1 duel, but you can also play Box Fight, Battle Royale, Zone Wars, and a free-build practice mode.

What are the controls in 1v1.LOL?

Move with WASD or the arrow keys, jump with Space, and crouch with Shift. The mouse aims, Left Click shoots and places builds, and Right Click aims or enters edit mode. Build pieces are on Z for wall, X for floor, C for ramp, and V for roof in the current build. Press G to edit, R to rotate or reload, F for the pickaxe, and 1 through 5 to switch weapons.

How do you build in 1v1.LOL?

Building is the core skill. Press Z for a wall, X for a floor, C for a ramp, and V for a roof, then Left Click to place the piece where you are aiming. Farm materials with the pickaxe so you never run dry mid-fight. The golden rule is to build up before you fight — high ground controls the angle and the cover.

What game modes are in 1v1.LOL?

1v1.LOL ships several modes. 1v1 Clash is the pure one-on-one duel, Box Fight is close-quarters combat in a small arena, and Battle Royale drops up to 10 players onto a shrinking map. Zone Wars is a shrinking-zone fight, JustBuild gives you unlimited materials to practice, and the Aim Trainer is a dedicated target range.

How do you get better at 1v1.LOL?

Take high ground first, place a wall before you ramp so you are protected while climbing, and use the right-hand peek — the camera sits over your right shoulder, so peeking from the right exposes less of your hitbox. Practice editing with G so you can open a window, shoot, and close it fast. Speed of building and editing is what separates players.

Is 1v1.LOL like Fortnite?

Yes. 1v1.LOL borrows Fortnite's core idea — build structures and shoot at the same time — and strips it down to run free in a browser. The building controls, the high-ground fight, and the editing all mirror the battle-royale style, but the matches are smaller and faster to get into.

Can you play 1v1.LOL on mobile?

1v1.LOL runs free in the browser and also has iOS and Android apps plus a Steam version. The mobile apps use touch controls, but the game is built for keyboard and mouse, and building and editing feel best on desktop with a full keybind set.
